Congratualtions on your recovery and return to the sport you love. My daughter was injured this summer with a spiral fracture of her fibulla and dislocated ankle. A plate and six screws were placed and then four months after surgery she had these removed. She is thick into sports rehab and personal training with the hopes of returning to the field within a month or two. She is a freshman in high school and was wondering what tips you can give her to returning to the field. It’s been a tough road. Accident occured on the soccer field as the team decided to slide through mud puddles and she did full throttle and got her foot trapped in a mud hole with full momentum. She is tough and tenacious yet has some concerns we are trying to help her with.
