ABBY UPDATE
U.S. forward Abby Wambach, the two-time reigning U.S. Soccer Female Athlete of the Year, is currently in Africa on behalf of “Right to Play,” an athlete-driven international humanitarian organization that uses sport as a tool for development of children and youth in the most disadvantaged areas of the world.

Hello and Happy Holidays!! I hope this second journal finds you all happy and maybe even a little tight-pants. It is the holidays, and who can say no to mom's cooking? I'm writing again, without even knowing if you all even care, but the website session I had last week made me think you guys actually do care. And so here goes another attempt.

This is the start of what hopefully will be many fun, entertaining, and enlightening journal entries. What my idea is, and has been, is to let you, the fans, in on parts of my life beyond what watching a soccer game would allow you to gather.
